As you can see, very first post.!--what a cool board.
Last month bought the new 42S6 Sampo plasma, and a JVC progressive DVD.
Yesterday ordered an RCA DTC100 and Direct TV.
Very excited to se HD on my new set, but even more watering at the mouth waiting to see NFL games.
Does anyone know what CBS, FOX, and ABC(MNF) are scheduling this season as far as HDTV is concerned.?
Where on the web can you find their HDTV NFL schedule if at all.?
I also saw a post here that HBO HD is 4:3 only.!
Is that true.? (you gotta stretch it for a 16:9 TV)

There have been zero announcements regarding NFL games in HD this season. ABC has rights to the Superbowl and pretty much everyone thinks that will be in HD, but no guarantees to date. ABC is also rumored to be working on some Monday Night Football games in HD later in the season, but no official word on that yet either.

As for good news, CBS is doing a lineup of SEC college football games in HD - with the first one being this Saturday, sandwiched in between CBS's HD coverage of the U.S. Open (a very good day for HD sports!). I don't get HDNet, but I believe you'll be able to catch a couple of college games on there as well.
