I decided on a Winegard Square Shooter. I believe it ships with all accessories needed to mount. I will not be mounting on my Dish (it's too high for me) and I have another portion of the roof that appears to have a clear view in the direction of the antennas. What will I need to install this? Is it as simple as getting a ton of coaxial cable (Radio Shack) and running it from the roof to the house? Please forgive me as this is all new and I'm not very handy. I appreciate your help.

All I can suggest is that you purchase your coax (RG6 or RG6QS) from Lowes or Home Depot. I will be much cheaper than RS.

Thanks. Is there is difference between RG6 or RG6QS?

Well... yeah.
RG6QS is "quad sheild". This is better for noise rejection.
Not really necessary... but nicer to have.
Obviously is does cost a little more than RG6.

Map it out. Pull cable first before cutting. Make sure that the antenna is in the best postion for a signal. Higher is better. The shorter the cable run the better. And finally make sure you have a drip loop.
Home Depot has all the install stuff you need.

The Carpenter's (the woodworkers, not Karen and Richard) Hymn..."measure twice, cut once".

Absolutely! :D
