I know quite a few people have these.
Anyone having problems with the RF-Remote?
I choose the RF function and it works fine for a few minutes then the remote stops working. I have to use the front panel arrow buttons to cycle through the menu and select the IR function.
Anyone?

I’m sure you’ve checked the batteries and made sure that the RF antenna connection hasn’t come lose.
You might want to see if the power-sat function button has been selected by looking at the button light and seeing which one lights up (TV or SAT). So you’re saying that after a while you need to go back to the RF remote menu and unselect the “RF type” and select “IR type” for the remote to work. Perhaps somehow your RF code got messed up. You might want to reset this code for your SAT box and see what happens. Good luck!

I'll mess with the codes and see if that helps.
Batteries are fresh and "IR" mode works perfect. (It's just a hassle having to lift the remote and point it at the box ;) )
I just read about keeping the antenna away from the box so I'll move it as far as the cord will reach.
