Hey guys, is there a way to get cable channels clearly? I have a grainy/snowy picuture unless I'm watching DVD's. Some channels are better than others but they are all not clear. Any suggestions?

I was experiencing the same problem and bought a line amplifier which made a huge difference. Now I can actually watch cable. It doesn't offer as good a picture as DVD of course, but it greatly reduced the grainy-ness and snow by reducing the loading effect that cable has.

I just got my set (ws65869) yesterday and noticed the same thing. Spent all night adjusting the picture for ant inputs and dvd inputs, but I think I got the cable one pretty good. The major things that help with fuzz on cable are sharpness, contrast, and video noise. Turn the sharpness way down and the contrast to probably about 35%. The video noise (I think that's what it was called) has two settings - normal and reduction. Set it to reduction. It's one of the options if you keep hitting the video button on the remote. That made a pretty big difference.

This is an analog problem from the cable company. Plainly a poor signal. It is hard to improve the signal yourself. Call the cable company. They may have to put in an amplifier.

One cure is to watch your digital local feed using an antenna and a STB, unless your TV has a built in digital tuner then you would not need the STB.
