Panasonic TU-HDS20 Question!

Hi everyone,
I have a question for you techs. out there. Is it possible to have an IEEE -1394 input mounted on this receiver for recordability? I was curious because Panasonic was using this input but stopped. Is it possible to fabricate this without hurting the receiver? Im pretty sure that the motherboard on this model could not have changed that much. Right? :(

Physically you may be able to add the interface, but I'd suspect that the firmware would require a change/mod.
