TSN: Do they boardcast everything in HDTV

I was in a bar. TSN had one of those soccer matches from euro 2004 that is going on now.....anyways, it was on a toshiba 57 inch and the picture was outstanding. I was wondering, is every TSN boardcast in HD....

If the above euro 2004 soccer match was SD cable, which i think it was, then I would expect SD to look just as good on a 42h83 toshiba if i were to buy one.....

The reason i say thi sis that whenever i have seen a RPTV do SD in a sotre, the signal is split 500 times.....so this boardcast of euro 2004 that i saw in the bar was a more accurate demo of how this type of TV handles a n SD feed......

anyone know if euro 2004 is HD or SD......

Euro 2004 is SD, not HD. Very little of what TSN shows is HD. I actually find their upconverted SD terrible - almost unwatchable.

They recently had some billiards and a couple of Champ car races in True HD. See the link for TSN HD programming in the appropriate section of this forum. Link below:

THATS Great! The SD i saw in the bar (euro 2004) looked wonderful on that toshiba!

well unlike women, turning down the lights or consuming large amounts of refreshments DOES NOT make the toshiba seem more than it really it.....i saw it in all its glory & it was damn fine indeed!!!!!!!!!!

Are you sure it was on TSN? INHD is showing Euro 2004 matches in HD on a tape delay basis. Two matches tonight, England/Switzerland and France/Croatia. It's not the best HD but it beats the heck out of SD.

yes i am sure, it was TSN. And if you go to their website, you will find (underHDTV shows) that euro 2004 is NOT a HD boardcast.
