 Nascar broadcasts are going over to NBC on July 11th. I was wondering if Sunday's, and all of the following broadcasts will be in High Definiton? Any comments or questions welcome.

Titantv.com is not listing it as HD. NBC does not show golf in HD either. :boo2:

Don't think anyone has a difinitive answer to that one...I hope they do, but looks like they would have announced it already if they were going to!
I hope they at least do wide format like Fox has done during the first half...I've been spoiled just having the added real estate...not to mention digital surround sound!
At least one race has been announced to be HD on TNT-HD (Richmond fall)

I just called my NBC rep (I buy television advertising). She assures me that NASCAR will be in High Definition. I'll believe it when I see it, but it sure sounds promising!
UPDATE: She called me back and said "Not Yet", but probably in two weeks. Hehe. Sounds like NBC doesn't even know...
They did Daytona earlier this year in HD, perhaps as "practise".

OT: 57U - I see that you have the SA8000HD *and* the SA3250HD. What advantage is there to have both?
I have the SA8000HD on my Hitachi HDTV.
It was "difficult" or impossible to keep my current "bundle price" if I gave up the SA3250HD, so I kept it for my upstairs 27" SDTV, giving me all the digital and HD channels on that TV which I didn't have before (only analogue through the TV's internal tuner).
Although I have to pay $25 for the SA8000HD (plus $2 PVR fee), had I given up the bundle, I would have paid almost as much, so I kept the bundle and the SA3250HD.
