I have been using Sony HD-200 to receive HD OTA locals along with Directv and the digital HD is beautiful. I got a wild hair I wanted to record HD so I bought the Hughes HR10250 and it does work beautiful with Directv but now I don't have any OTA channels. The signal is flat. I can move the OTA cable around a little bit by the input by unscrewing it almost all the way out and the signal starts to pop in and out. All I can think of is the OTA input is bad on the thousand dollar unit. Any more suggestions on this would be appreciated as I have run out of ideas. I can hook my Sony HD receiver back up and the signals at the top of the reception scale. I have ordered a new replacement unit but in the meantime before I exchange I would really like to know if it's me or if it's the unit. Of couse I have done all the channel searches and I have them showing up in the Tivo menu but no OTA reception.
