I have this STB for Time Warner Cable in NYC. High def looks great, but want to figure out if I have the right settings for the best possible viewing experience. Was just wonder if there is a service manual for this anywhere. How do I adjust the menu for this. Is it thru the TWC service menu or is it a separate menu all together. With the TWC service menu thru their remote, you can only adjust the aspect format (widescreen or regular) but nothing about the resolution (1080 or 480). Where can I adjust this in regards to the STB.

Here a link to the Pioneer box install guide, I would sugggest using the DVI output it will give a better picture. Ive been trying to get info on more HD channels but the Customer Service is horrible in NYC

I am using the DVI output. looks great in high def. Discovery HD is sweet, but PBS is so so. Are you getting the same results. I just wanted to know if the STB is set correctly, and if not how can you adjust it to get the best possible picture.

Not all programs are in HD at PBS. Many are in Widescreen High Resolution. Make sure to pay attention at the start of a program for the blue page which announces the format (HD or WS).
