Samsung SIR-T151 Still Good?

With the Olympics coming up, I've decided I would like to watch them in HD (on my Sony 36XBR). My entire TV watching life revolves around the ability to time-shift (currently using Dish Network PVR), but I've come to realize that HD PVR is just too much out of my price range (and the 921 still seems hard to get and too buggy).

So... I figure I can get a STB and use an OTA antenna considering most of the HD programming I'm going to want to watch will be sports (so I'll watch it LIVE) and will be on the broadcast networks (I can live without the little HD content on ESPN). My local cable company offers HD networks, but not CBS and I like Dish too much to switch.

So it may be obsolete in a while (if the 921 ever becomes reasonable), but I figure i'll just get the STB and plug it in. In looking around, I've seen very favorable reviews of the Samsung SIR-T151 and can get it on eBay for <$200. Money well spent, I would think.

But I'm a little concerned because it isn't being made any more. Is there a current fave out there for STBs? I know it won't be integrated into my system, i.e. I'll have to switch my video source on my TV, but I can live with that to be able to watch NBC's coverage in HD.

Any advice is much appreciated!

Even though I'm renting the SA8000 HD DVR, it looks like the bulk of my Olympics timeshifting is going to involve my ReplayTVs, one of which is fed by my Samsung SIR-T351 and a pair of rabbit ears. For the Olympics, only NBC is HD....the rest are SD...and analog...so the DVR will be of limited use...and I'm limited to about 15 hours of HD recording with it.

So, I'll have to be selective on what goes on the HD DVR and the rest will go on my PVRs (with one covering broadcast NBC HD).

Though I'm wondering if NBC is actually going to be HD....haven't seen anything in HD on NBC yet.

Also, there's no ESPN-HD in my area.

Wonder if I should see about upgrading the drive in the ReplayTV with the Samsung SIR-T351 connected to it.
