i was once excited about getting voom about 4 month ago. When i finally got voom i was very dissappointed. their 10 movies channels are movies from back of the ages that u really would not watch. so i was really paying for 3 channels dicovery,ultra,and their music channel. I canceled with them, and they continued to bill be for 2 more months. so now they tell me i have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for a paper check. Honestly cable is better u get in-hd,espnhd,HBO-hd(is not hd but it looks better), starz-hd, msg-Hd,fox sport net-hd. STILL WAITING ON DISCOVERY-HD

Just some suggestions. When discussion what you get, please include your cable company and your location. You can add your location to your profile.
On Voom, cable may be better for you, but to say you were only paying for 3 channels somewhat misrepresents the total available HD channels. You could have gotten both Starz and HBO (as well as Show, MAX and Encore) as part of the Va-Va-Voom package. I would love to have Voom, but can't afford both cable and satellite right now. We don't get BravoHD but do get the INHDs so I would have to keep the digital basic on Comcast plus Va-Va-Voom and it would cost a lot, plus adding a satellite to a very wired living room.

I'm confused, what do you mean they kept billing you? Were you still sending them money or did they do a direct withdrawal from your account? Also, like raidbuck said, it would be nice to know what cable company you have and where you are. Where I live for example Comcast has yet to roll out any HD and has no timeline to do it, satellite and/or OTA are my only options so my case the cable sucks :)

yes it was a direct withdraw from my checking account, its been now 3 month and still no check.

sorry guys, I live in New York City and I have Cablevision. When it comes to sports channels specificly baseball, i get msg-hd,INHD,espnhd,foxsports-hd.i the other channels are bravo-hd,starz-hd,hbo-hd.
