Nice Folks on HDTVoice

I belong to this forum and have from time to time read and posted on tivocommunity.com and avsforum.com. The difference is huge. The posts and responses from most folks on the other forums is just down right nasty. If you make one mistake in your post, your gonna get it. If you express your opinion, its gonna be wrong.

Just wanted to say I like this forum a great deal not only because it helped my understand HD but the folks seem much more pleasant here.

Cant we all just get along....

I agree, not a LOT of attitude here. Most people here could be neighbors, sit on the patio and drink beer together. This is more of a fraternity/community than the others tend to be.

You MODS are the reason it is that way. For instance, in many threads a MOD will post a reply and therefore provides not only an appropriate answer to a question but sets the tone which, in most cases, carries on throughout the thread.
