Samsung SIR-T351

I am on my second SIR-T351 (OTA) HD receiver. I have it hooked up to my Toshiba 52" widescreen. When it is first hooked up the system goes through set-up perfectly, however once the system is turned off and then turned back on, most of the functions do not work. I can change channels and aspect ratio, however the unit will not display (info, set-up, signal strength, guide). None of these functions will work. The first unit was returned to Samsung for warranty repair, after it did this a second time I returned the unit where ibought it, thinking it never got fixed. Now I have a unit from a completely different store and it is exhibiting the same behavior. The picture and sound are awesome, 1080 w/ 5.1 dolby. I am in Chicago so there are lots of channels. Has anyone heard of this problem before? The functions will not work from the remote or the unit.

How do you have it connected?

Perhaps it is sending the menus/displays to a different output?

I just bought the Toshiba 52" and a Samsung 351, hooked them up with a Gefen DVI to HDMI cable. The colors where all wrong and no details in the black, I went through 3 Samsung 351's before I gave up and got an LG 3510A, the picture quality is 1000% better than the Samsung.
