Which HDTV display would you recommend?

Hi there. Can anyone recommend a good HDTV disaply? I have around £1,000 ($1,500?) to spend. I would like it to be at least 32", and preferably a Sony.


Also, whats the image quality like on a rear projection compared to a CRT?

If your a gamer, stick with direct view tv.

If your looking for a 32"-36" tv go with either sony or toshiba, they excell in these standards, and are highly recommended on this forum.

I'm not really into gaming. I'll just be using it for watching movies. I haven't seen many CRT HDTV screens around.
