Mits ws-65869

I have a very basic question for you hd experts. I own a mit ws-65869 and currently setting ota antenna to recieve the hd ota broadcasts. The question is that when I hook my incomming cable to the ant-dtv input, can I also recieve analog broadcasts through this same input, or will I need to use a splitter to send the signal to another input such as ant-a or ant-b?
Also is there any insights on setting up the ant-dtv input.
Sorry for the simplicity, I'm just getting started.
