I recently purchased an HD receiver and I would now like to get the local digital stations. Can anyone help m ein recommending a good antenna to put in my attic that would pull in the stations listed below. Any hel would be much appreciated.
uhf KXAS-DT 5.1 NBC Fort Worth TX 190° 38.3 miles
uhf KTVT-DT 11.1 CBS Fort Worth TX 188° 38.6 miles
uhf KERA-DT 13.1 PBS Dallas TX 189° 38.6 miles

What was the color at the beginning of those lines?
What is the actual digital channel number for WFAA-DT 8.1 ABC Dallas? It was listed at the end of the line. Since its VHF it could make a difference in antenna selection.

you are pretty far away for an attic antenna but then again

So you do have a VHF digital.. Look at my suggestions..

92% of digital TV stations are on UHF
5% are on high VHF (ch 9-13)
3% are on low VHF (ch 2-8)
Often, a high VHF station can be picked up with a UHF antenna
Maybe you can get by with a UHF only? On the roof.
