View Full Version : Pioneer 4330 DVI between Receiver and Display - Also RS232!

I am considering buying a receiver for my home system.
The TV box on my 4330 has a set of cables that run between the box and display simply called White and Grey cables. The white looks like a DVI output.
Is this the case?
If so, can I feed this from the TV box to the receiver and then to the display – so that I can send other DVI to it?

Also, there is a DB9 (serial?) connector on the back. The manual says for use in factory set-up. Can this be used to do a firmware update to enhance the set?

Any help is appreciated!
