Why do stations put that darn logo on the screen all the time?

Do they think people are so stupid we don't know what channel we're watching? It's hardly advertising cause we're already watching the darn channel.

They know they cause burn-in on peoples sets so why do they deliberately do something that they know harms peoples television sets?

Has anyone ever considered a class action suit to stop that c*ap?

There are some who say that logos help deter program theft. Having a logo on the screen always lets people know where the program originated.

I accept good logos, but there are some that are WAY too big and instrusive.
