The TV is 2 months old. Watching and there was a "pop" and the screen color turned all blue. Could still see the image, no other colors.

Any idea what this is, I will be calling service tomorrow.

Thank you

hmmmmmmm , were you looking at the set when this happened ??
were you fooling with controls, remote etc when it happened?
heard a 'pop' did you see smoke or a spark? wondering if it had anything to do with
say an electric surge (another home appliance) is set plugged into a surge protector?

have you done anything with it since (unplug it so maybe it resets?)

I wonder all this because I have about a year old 51 inch 510 series and this is the first I
heard of any troubles with the " 510 Series " :stuckthum

please keep us posted as to what you find out...

I was watching it, no sparks or smoke. Just a "snap" noise. Was not fooling with the controls.
Did an unplug, no change.

Only time that happens to me is when the DVD is unplugged from the AC outlet and in the DVD setup (this is a combo DVD/VCR) the Connection type is changed from Component to something else while Component is the physical connection. Changing the type to Component resolves the issue.

Not saying that this is your case but if you were trying to play a DVD and your Component connection came loose...
