I have the 30 inch sony set, on occassion I hear a snapping sound, I just wonder if any one else has the same problem. It sounds more like the plastic case is settleling, but I worried it might be arcing. I heard a set arc before and the noise was alot louder. If any one else experienced this please let me know.

that would be my guess just the set settling in, if you notice any picture problems or smell a bit of smoke then you have a problem.
