I was wondering if anyone knows anything about or has used the new HD recorder by Toshiba. It intigrates with their new line of TV's. The model is 160HD4. What does it compare to? Is it just like TIVO? Any information or a website that has more than specs would be great.

maybe it will interest you...
Toshiba also showcased its new Symbio A/V Hard Drive Recorder (160HD4). Symbio is an external 160GB hard drive that works with the control functions in all 2004 Toshiba integrated HDTV models. There is a one-wire connection, utilizing the TV's IEEE1394 port. Symbio utilizes the TV Guide On Screen system in the TV to allow for one touch recording of both standard and high definition TV content.
The TV also has controls for pausing and rewinding live TV allowing viewing flexibility.
