I've got a KP-51HW40 and just noticed a small line that appears in the upper right corner. After closely examining it, it's on the inside and moves like a spider web or piece of lint between projection source and interior screen.

Any suggestions on how to remove it without calling for service? I'm capable of doing some simple things, but don't wish to risk creating greater problems.

Thanks for the help....

IMO... if it's under warranty, call for service.
You've paid for it.

Sadly, the warranty ran out. I had a two year parts & labor and have had it for 2.5 years. Still sounds like it's worthy of a service call. It's so incredibly small that I didn't even see it until my daughter pointed it out. When I got up close and watched it for a few it was obviously moving in a way that a spider web would move in the slightest of breezes.

If you don't want to take the screen apart, get a can of "compressed air". That might get rid of it.
