It is possible to use TV's PIP (KF42WE620 ) with a Rodgers STB?
I'm don't think so since the STB only has one set of component outputs. Even if it had more I'm not sure how you would have the STB switch to a differnent channel. I guess you could get another STB and hookit up but that seem like over kill.
You've pretty well summarized it. An option is to use the TV's internal tuner to tune to an analogue channel and the STB to tune to any channel you want. Another option is to get the SA8000HD, which has PiP. Many people are very pleased with the HD DVR.

Man you are fast :)
I have the SA8000HD and like it so far. It just is the PIP is smaller than the dual screen of the TV. I guess I was getting greedy wanted dual football games.
To do what you mentioned how would get an analog feed into the TV. Just split the cable before it goes into the STB? I assume the analog picture is going to be very poor?
Just split the cable before it goes into the STB? Yes, but the analogue signal doesn't have to be poor. I find the analogue PQ on my TV tuner to be just as good as any SD signal on the STB, save perhaps TMN. If you don't have a good analogue picture, check your signal strength. See the FAQ on Tips for SA STBs to check signal strength.

Thanks! just hooked it up.
Do you think that there will be a problem splitting the cable 3 times.

The tech split the line for cable modem and STB.
I've got 6 splits. Just check your signal strength and make sure everything's working... If not, have Rogers in to correct the situation.
