I guess I should direct this to Sony KPxxWV700 HDTV owners and to those who considered this set when they were shopping around.
I'm condirering the KP65WV700 vs. the Mits 65611 platinum +. The obvious advantage of the Mits is the built in tuner and I guess NetCommand, not sure if this really works well but looks good in theory, how's the Sony remote anyway?
The number one feature on the Sony (what I think so far) is the Uniform Brightness technology. This is awesome! This is the 1st RPTV that I've seen that has a wide vertical viewing angle. The screen brightness does not change wrt vertical viewing angle! So it does not matter if you feel like just laying on the floor instead of your usual spot on the sofa. Second the double AR coating which is only available on the Mits Diamond line. Haven't seen them side to side yet in the same lighting conditions so it really difficult for me to judge this and other things.
So what I need is some help in making a list of pros/cons of the WV700 line. Please tell me why you bought this particular set and for those who considered this line and went with another set what you didn't like and why you didn't go with the Sony.
Thanks!
