I have the Dish with a DP34 Switch. I noticed that only two cables are coming into the Switch and 3 are going out to the receivers. However, there are three inputs on the Switch "from Satellite". I believe I only have a dual head LNB, so I thought the other input might allow an antenna.

If that is a yes, then I can mount the antenna and run it through the switch and might only need to put a diplexer on the other end. Would that be correct?

No, it's for a 3rd sat location, not an OTA antenna.

The best way is to run a seperate line to your STB/TV from an antenna. No loss of signal.

I replied the following to another post. Hope I don't cause problems by doing it again. I need a medium directional antenna (maybe pre-amp depending on location) and posted the following:

I am looking at the SS-2000 also because of the look/functionality of the product. It does state that some of the 2-6 VHF channels don't always come in and CBS locally is channel 4.

Rest are (if I go high on the side of house or the roof):
* red - uhf WLYH-DT 15.1 UPN LANCASTER PA 94° 27.4 23
* red - vhf WHP-DT 21.1 CBS HARRISBURG PA 44° 10.7 4
* red - vhf WHTM-DT 27.1 ABC HARRISBURG PA 23° 7.1 10
* red - uhf WITF-DT 36.1 PBS HARRISBURG PA 44° 10.7 36
* red - uhf WPMT-DT 43.1 FOX YORK PA 134° 23.9 47
* red - uhf WGAL-DT 8.1 NBC LANCASTER PA 134° 22.8 58

If I go low (single story...about as high as I "like" to climb) are:
* red - uhf WLYH-DT 15.1 UPN LANCASTER PA 94° 27.4 23
* red - vhf WHP-DT 21.1 CBS HARRISBURG PA 44° 10.7 4
* red - vhf WHTM-DT 27.1 ABC HARRISBURG PA 23° 7.1 10
* red - uhf WITF-DT 36.1 PBS HARRISBURG PA 44° 10.7 36
* red - uhf WPMT-DT 43.1 FOX YORK PA 134° 23.9 47
* blue - uhf WGAL-DT 8.1 NBC LANCASTER PA 134° 22.8 58

Only one channel changes and that is NBC. However, the two I want are Fox at 134° and CBS at 44°. Will the SS-2000 be okay for these?

Pete, you shouldn't really hijack threads when your questions are off topic, this really should have warrented a new topic so it wouldn't get lost in this post.. We got you covered in the other SS post your in though. :)

I guess I hijacked my own thread and another. Sorry about that. I will pay more attention next time. Thanks for the advice.

Not a problem because it did show me that I did kind of hijack another one, although it was on the same topic. We're cool with advice. Have a good day.
