I'm thinking of buying a WS-55809 (Platinum) very soon, but I'm wondering what the WS-55819 (Platinum Plus) offers. The Mitsubishi website doesn't really explain what the "Plus" buys you. Can someone summarize what the improvements are?

This is the main difference:
QuadField Focus. An approach Mitsubishi developed to further focus the electron beam within each CRT. It operates by magnetically "squeezing" the electron beams from side to side and from top to bottom as they travel from the necks to the faces of each CRT. The result is a visibly sharper, clearer picture with well defined edge detail.
The other difference is the size of the speakers (6 inch as opposed to 5 inch), but who listens to the TV speakers.

but basically the difference isnt too huge, but i still went with the Platinum Plus because i figured the price difference was pretty small for a "better model"
