Am i the only one not getting the World Series in HD tonight. Its really weird. When i tuned into the Fox channel broadcast in HD for some reason i was receiving a 480i signal rather than the 1080i signal that i should be and usually receive. What gives?
Well, it was HD here (Detroit and Seattle) and BTW, Fox is 720P.

it was HD in boston though i'm not sure all the camera's are HD.
There is the occasional SD Widescreen camera, but the coverage has been excellent. (And the "diamond cam" - obviously very SD ;) )

I know the game is broadcast in 720p, but my STB is set to send the HD signals through at 1080i and everything else at 480p and when i was watching the World Series my tv was receiving a 480p signal from my STB.
Sorry, couldn't tell that from the post. You could have said "HD signal" instead of 1080i - would have been less confusing. Hope you get it sorted out with your affiliate.
