Just so happened my dvd player went out again, so went to buy another, I bought the Panasonic E85H. I wanted to get the Hi Fiu Tivo also but just couldnt budget it rite now. Anyways, i tyhought this DVD player recorder and w/ hard drive would get me by for a while as I have tivo on 2 other regular tv's around the house.
My problem is I hooked this recorder up, I am using a Yamahe rx_v3300 receiver, so everything goes through that. The HD sat reciever is hooked up w/ high def cables to receiver, and receiver has high def cables to monitor(relays all hd devices I thought). The satelite receiver I have the s-video out to recorder, and audio outs to recorder, recorder has fiber optic out to receiver. recorder has Svideo, and standard video cable out to receiver.
My problem. I go to tape to hard drive of recorder off satelite, and I get sound, but no picture, I know I am getting a video image to monitore as recorder/player menu type items appear on monitor. I've tried everything, thinkin maybe I got a bad one. Any ideas appreciated.
