Has anybody ever bought from Antennas Direct? I was looking at the DB8 Ultra Long Range Multi - Directional antenna. It has a 90-day money-back guarantee and lifetime "no questions asked" exchange policy. Price: $113.00 w/shipping. My zip code is 14136 and if possible I would prefer to get a Multi - Directional antenna also could the DB8 be to strong for my zip for either attic or roof mount? Sorry kind of new at OTA.

Hi, welcome to HDTVoice.

I don't think you will have very good luck with an attic mount with the stations in the RED zone. Ok for the Yellow.

I have not personally used AntennasDirect but some of the members have. I've not heard of any complaints.

You will need a rotor for the antenna due to the directions of the transmitters.

Any hills, tall buildings, trees etc between you and the transmitters? If you have a fairly level shot you might try the DB4 first.

Let us know and good luck,
Lee

and am getting excellent reception. My transmitters are all (at least the ones I need) in the same general direction and about 12.5 miles out.

Antennas direct was great. I emailed Richard and spoke to him on the phone. Highly recommended.

Good luck,

May I suggest a look here: http://www.warrenelectronics.com/antennas/4228.htm

This is a Channel Master 8-bay bow - very much like the DB8 - but only $50.

Depending on how handy you are, you may be able to have an installer put it up.

I have the ChannelMaster 4-bay and it works pretty good.

You should be able to get a DTV signal +/- 20 degrees from your main direction. You should also be able to get analog signal at +/- 60 degrees.
