Sony LCD RPTV Pro Set-up

Wondering if anyone has any experience with set-ups on the Sony LCD RPTV's. Is it necessary? Anyone see a discernable difference? Frankly, even after an in depth look at the FAQs on this awesome web site, I am still trying to figure out if I should get one. I can do the color adjusting with Avia and all, but I assume there is a service-menu with focusing and the like that I may not want to mess with.

Normally, not to worry.

When I brought my Sony Wega KF-50WE610 home, I plugged it in, did some minor tweeking, and it was GREAT.
Love it.
