I just bought a new Sony 42 LDP. I have not signed up for any HD programming yet, which is killing me. I do some capturing of old tv shows with an s-video connection to my capture card in my pc.
With the new receiver will I be able to capture still? Does it have an s-video output that I can still use to capture with. I don't need to capture High Def, I am perfectly fine with the way I have been doing it.
I currently have Dish Network, but am not opposed to switching to Directv. Dish wants $550 now for their HD-DVR which is still pretty high to me.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
