Can anybody tell me why the 42we610 is more expensive than the 42we655? I bought the 42we655 and LOVE the TV. HD images are awesome...

It should be the other way around. At a quick glance, the 655 has a CableCard slot and a built in ATSC tuner.

TVs such as these have gotten cheaper in the last year. I.e. the 34XBR960 is cheaper than last yrs. 910. Go for the new model---
