To all KF60WE610 owners out there - I purchased my tv in July 2004. I have calibrated the tv using Digital Video Essentials, but the red colors sometimes still seem to be really too "hot" or vivid. Sometimes to the point of looking almost fuzzy or blowen out. Bright yellows can slightly be like this too at times :mecry: Has anyone else experienced this? Is it inherent to LCD tv's and/or something that can only be fixed within the service menu? Any thoughts?

I have that TV and it looks great.

I usually leave in VIVID mode, it just looks better to me.. There is another setting that is WARM, COOL or NEURTRAL. I leave that in NEURTAL. WARM adds reds and COOL adds blues.

I have never touched any of the more detailed adjustments. There is a RESET button on the remote to set everything back to factory settings. You might want to go there to start a new baseline.

It's the infamous Sony red push. If you are inclinced - you can fix it in the service menu.

On my set - I used pro to calibrate it. And I *think* left it in the neutral color selection. If you use vivid or the other one (not pro or movie) all the stuff like SVM is on.
