I got the DVR on Monday it work's great. But on channels 35,36,37,38 & 39 the is a static bar that goes up and down the scree. I never had that till I got the box. When I put my hands near the back right hand side of the box it stops. I called Cablevision and they are coming back Friday for repair to replace the box. Has anyone else had this issue. There has to be something wrong with the box. If it was interferience it would be on every channel. When they come friday I am checking the channels before the guy leaves. The installer I had Monday did it fast but I think he was kind of rough with the box. Please anybody let me know if you have a similar problem and I will keep you guys posted on what the problem is
Check to make sure your connections are tight - try "reversing" or "replacing" the RF-coax that comes from the wall to the STB. I'm assuming the "bar" goes in one direction. This is usually AC ingress to the cable. Try running a cable to the STB as direct as possible.

The Cable Guy came and he said the connections were great. He determined it was the box it self and the frequency it is give off on thos certain channels. He told me they will reorder a new hd dvr for me and call me in a couple days when it is in. Hopefully this will work but I am making sure before the cable guy leaves.

I am getting a lot of pixilation when I watch my recordings, is anyone else having this issue
It's a known issue. SA and the cable companies are working on a firmware fix for the pixellation. It's weird because some shows will have pixellation many times while others will have none...
(We are discussiong pixellation and not macroblocking)
