I strongly recommend you guys to stick with your dvd player you have or get something else other than sony instead...
I was purchased this sony dvd playerl from crutchfield.... at the first time i realized that was slow a little bit but it was working properly PQ was not bad (1080 i) as well.. but last week it stopped working and it's not playing any kind of dvd or cd right now... when i ty to turn it off or push the eject button it takes a lot of time to be done...friend of mine told me he got the same problem... i guess there is a major problem at the production of this item such as compability or something else..so i returned it ....and got Denon dvd 1910 ..PQ is better if you ask me , even dough the sony's ns975 is more expensive than denon ... the only thing is it doesn't have an hdmi output which is not that important for me ..because i really dont care about hooking up my hdmi cable to my XBR 960 and getting the stereo sound from there instead of using my surround receiver.
:)
