I've had a WD-62725 for a month now and the Tweeter service guy came out this week to fix the geometry. I'm sure I would have noticed before but after the the "carefull" adjustment of twisting the cabinet the service guy pointed out that I have 2 pixels out. I see one whole pixel and what looks like some dirt covering half of another. The tech claimed that the half pixel is really a whole pixel but since it was near the edge the focus is not as good.
Is this total BS? I can clearly see each pixel across the entire screen and they all appear to be uniform in size and focused.
When the service guy left he said he left a message with the service department telling them that I was not satisfied. He also said he was going to order a new light engine or a could request a replacement TV when someone from the "Rapid" response team called me.
I called Tweeter 2 days later (never received a call from them) to request a replacement since the lower right corner still is not fixed and I now have 1.5 or 2 dead pixels. Got a very friendly "sure, let me call you back after I prepare the paperwork for the exchange"... 48 hours later, no phone call.
Has anyone had similar problems with Tweeter's service?
