waste of money. I had component cables from my Dish 811 to my JVC HD-ILA 52" set. Really, I had an awesome HD pic (OTA and Dish-HD), and a fair SD picture. I upgraded to Antenna Direct DB4 with RG6 cable, then added the HDMI to DVI cable. The antenna help with a signal lock problem I had, really no picture quality improvement. The cable I can tell no difference. Waste of $$ IMO.

In some cases switching to digital makes no difference, in others it does, depends on the equipment, how well the TV handles the signals, etc... I hope you bought the cable someplace you can return it. :)
