I am looking for a new dvd player. I have narrowed it down to 2 options, The DVD-1910 by Denon or Sony's DVP-NS975V. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with either. I'll be hooking it up with DVI directly to my Sony KV-36HS500 TV. and through a Denon AVR-3805 7.1 receiver. that is hooked to 2 Yamaha NS-777 Towers and Bose VCS-30® center/surround speakers with a Velodyne 10" subwoofer. I'm looking for picture and sound quality of course. :patriot:

Dont have those models, but ive used denon and sony players.
DENON hands down, no question about it! Cant go wrong with FAROUDJA!
Denons previously had some jitter issues on sony flat tubes and
other models. But brector has the 1910 he said there were no
problems on his sony t.v.
I really hope this means they fixed
the problem. I'm looking at the 2910 right now, and will probably
get that after christmas. There players are definitly better than the sonys in my opinion. Stick around before u buy, others will reply.
Hey look guys, i learned how to make a paragraph!! No more squinting!

But remember - mine is a CRT RPTV. Cause I don't want to catch hell if there is a problem with standard CRT's and the 1910 :D

i don't have the 1910, but on my fixed pixel set, the 975 looks stunning. i've read lots of review on the sony board about the 975.
