Well, first I'll say that last weekend (8 days ago) I got my new Panny plasma, the TH50PX25U/P from my local HHGregg (got a good deal plus 18 months 0%). For a week all I was able to watch was DVDs, and the experience was fantastic; better than any DVD I've seen before, including $12k+ DLP projectors.
This saturday afternoon, however, I got Dish, and the HD channels are stunning, especially HDNet.
Anyways, the Panny came w/ "ferrite cores" which the manual says should be put on cables a little before the input. It does not state what they are for and if they are for audio and video cables. So, what are the ferrite cores?
Thanks.
