My buddy has a 57h81 and he uses a dvi cable from his cable box to his set. On the hd channels the picture is perfect, but when he changes the channel to a none hd channel one side the picture is moved over and distored. Could the dvi cable be bad or the tv or the box. Please help. Thanks

How does it look when you connect it via component?

The only way to really troubleshoot this is to try a different DVI device on the TV or find another TV to try the STB on.. If he's got a neighbor with a HDTV, he might wanna see if they'll let him try it out on their TV...
