Panasonic CT-30WC14...letterbox "tapering" issue

My new tv is annoying me...haha. Basically, the top and bottom borders of any letterboxed image are not parallel. About halfway across the screen, the image tapers towards the left. The source material doesn't matter, be it cable or DVD...the phenomenon is the same. Adjusting the tilt doesn't alleviate the problem...though it does make it slightly less apparent, the image is still shorter on the left than it is on the right. I know, I've measured. Anyway, I'd really like to not have to lug this thing back to Wal Mart, but I'm not sure I want to spend the next few years living with this issue.

Any advice/input welcome.

The set needs minor geometry adjustment.

Three options:
Call for service

If you have access to the 'service menu', you can adjust it yourself

Return/exchange the set
(but... the new set mayexhibit the same or similar geometry issues)
