I have the SA Explorer 8000HD box outputing through component cables(the only hd that cox cable has enabled) to my Panasonic PT 53X54. I can not get a good HD picture. Right now INHD is about the only signal working and it is in black and white. I have switched my cables several times and have the same problem (run them through my Denon 3803 and connected them directly from the 8000 to the TV using both component jacks). The problem is worse on the lower channels 704-709 do not come in at all. INHD at 731 shows a black and white picture. Any suggestions? :whistle:

Double check your component cable connections. Make sure they are pushed completely in and you have red/red, green/green and blue/blue on both ends. Start with connecting the cable box directly to the TV.

If that does not work, you may gave to call Cox.

well if youve tried different cables and your getting the same thing could be the box... now keep in mind if we come out there and it isnt a cable problem you will be charged $30.00.. anything in home is your issue... if it is the box no problem and no charge.... anything from the ped or pole whichever you have to the ground block is our issue.... hope this helps..
