Gateway DLP Replacement Bulb

Well, my bulb lasted less than 1000 hrs. :( I ordered a new one several weeks ago and they are currently "backordered" with an estimated shipping date of January 28th. Has anyone ordered and received a replacement bulb from Gateway? How long did it take?

Hmmm, wonder who makes it? Not much luck on Google searches.....

Not sure. I don't recall seeing anything on the one that failed. I would be interested in talking to the manufacturer to see if there is anything I can do to extend the life of the lamp (assuming I get a new one).

Thanks for the link, Roncho. But no luck there. I found another place on the web that sold the lamps but they are out of stock also. Gateway has now pushed the "estimated" delivery date to mid-February - so no Superbowl at my house this year :(. Daytona 500 is approaching fast too...
