Looks like a great Forum, hope to be here a while learning and helping.
I have a Mits 48413 and just bought Sony SLV-350P DVD/VCR. I hate having to have two remotes. I though I would be able to use the codes and program the Mits remote to use the Sony not the case. I can not get one code to work on either the DVD setting or the VCR setting. I even tried the DVD codes on the VCR remote setting and VCR codes on the DVD remote setting.
I even attempted to use the IR Command. I was able to everything to work but the power on. After I test the frequency and it turns on and off the Sony I take it out of learn mode and it onyl turns off my 48413 and nothing to my Sony. The other buttons did work but the responses were very slow or sluggish. It took over 1 sec to change the channel but when I used the Sony remote it was as I pressed the button.
So is anyone else having this issue with a DVD/VCR Combo units?
Am I going to have this issue with any DVD/VCR Combo units?
What is a well tested VCR player that will work with my 48413?
What is a well tested dvd player that will work with my 48413?
My last solution is to purchase a Learning Remote any suggestions on what is the best model? I only need it for the DVD/VCR Combo, Mits TV and Comcast Digital Cable box.
