I finally got my HD cable box hooked up and now I notice a bright blue line when I stretch the 4:3 picture to fit. If I let the cable box do the stretch, it looks fine. If I stretch with the TV's FORMAT button, I see the line.

I see in the service menu a place to set horizontal position, but I can't figure out how to make the change. The set is less then a month old... should I not bother with it and try to get the store to send a technician?

I've had 3 - 65813's, (1 never made it in the house, they dropped it...) They both had the same issue (Reason for the swap in the first place). The Tweeter tech. was able to fix it 99% after calling Mitsubishi. I use the controlls on the cable box/DVD player for expansion/zoom/etc.

Besides that its a great TV. I looked for a couple of years until they got good/cheap enough.

take it back of its only a month old thats not acceptable.... if you get a tech out there youll just have to wait a while....what your probably seeing is the blue convergance grid on the corner of the screen... dont mess with the service menu unless you write everything down or unless you know what your doing...

I ended up going into the service menu and it turned out that the picture was just really far off-center. I adjusted the horizontal position about 4" to the left and it looks great now.
