i cant decide whether i want to get a samsung tx-p2675w, or get the philips 30pw850h. they both end up at $750 tax included

this is basically quality over quantity, the samsung has incredible graphics, while the philips is bigger.

and the samsung accepts 480,720,and 1080 with built in hd tuner, philips only accepts 480 and 1080 without hd tuner.

this tv will mostly be used to play games, and watch normal cable tv.

someone please help me decide.

If you want to buy a new tv in 2 years and can afford it, then get the bigger one, but if you want this to be your tv for any length of time, you will be very very disappointed with the phillips. James

I'd say take quality over quantity though you might want to consider spending a little more on a 30" Samsung then you get the best of both worlds...
