how the heck do i get into the convergence menu?? ive heard its mute 1 8 3, but mine does not do anything. is there another way to get into the convergence menu?

Turn the power off, then press mute, 1, 8, 2, then power on. You can make all sorts of adjustments here, but you can also royally screw yourself, so be careful. (Also, it's not a "convergence menu", because convergence is only needed on projection units with three CRTs. Typically, it's called the "service menu") One note: if your TV does not come with DNIe, then do not turn it on!

having tried to find it for my 27", I have discovered that not all Samsungs have the convergence menu :(
