At least of the major networks. Thet do not mess around. NCAA football every Sat, practically every prime time show, a soap opera(!), and it all looks great! Check out "Still Standing" w/ Jamie Gertz- totally clear and lifelike.

CBS HDTV Rules!
The only problem is that CSI is so gruesume in HD that my wife and I can't watch the first 10 minutes usually. We are always just sitting down to dinner. LOL

To bad my crappy CBS affilitate has not gone to the HD broadcasts yet. When you try and contact them about it they give you the whole "cost" run around. They do have a nice definition of their HD policy on their website.

Hmmm, maybe they should add the question, "When the hell are we going to start broadcasting in HD?"

Yeah it's also too bad that CBS and Comcast can't get their stuff together to make a deal wo carry the CBS HD signal to Comcast HD customers!
Especially with football starting in 6 days!

My first network show ever with my brand new HD set (sony 51 inch widescreen)tonight was CSI. When they showed the floater in the tub I almost puked. Damn it look so real. The city scapes were amazing. I am sooooo spoiled now. :D

Yep, CBS rocks. By far the best. One can only hope that FOX, if they ever decide to do HD, will choose 1080i.

I think Fox chose 720p.
Yep, Fox stated 720P by September 2004.
