So I've got my 811 with an OTA antenna hooked up to it, but whenever we walk in front of the antenna it losses signal. this problem could be fixed soon when we get our wall ent unit and the antenna will go on top of that. However I bought two diplexors and was thinking I could hook one up at my 811 and then another one up at my 311 on the second floor of my house. Will this work? meaning can the antenna signal run down the wire going to my 311, through my LNB and then into the wire going to my 811 and into my second diplexor? This sounded like a great idea until I got delivered to me and realized the signal may not transfer in the LNB. Otherwise any other ideas for placing my antenna out of sight on a different floor of my home?

Run a seperate cable or put an antenna outside and tie into the run to the 811 using the diplexors...

yeah, thought of that... so basically it won't transfer the antenna signal through the lnb then huh? Why can't I think of these things before hand...

No, there are two indenpendant LNB's in the head, they aren't connected to each other.
