I am thinking about buying the Sony KDF 55 XS 955 from One Call. From what I have researched, they have the lowest price for an authorized dealer at $3,064 including shipping. Anyone ever buy from this company? If so, what were your experiences? The good? The bad? The ugly? If anyone has purchased this TV from another authorized Sony dealer for a lower price and has had good service, please let me know.

Thanks all

I guess nobody has called One Call, or maybe someone has called One Call and only had to make one call. If they had to make that one call two calls to one call, someone would of posted saying not to call One Call at all.

Say that five times in a row.

Seriously though, I searched through the database of threads before making my first post on this topic, and nothing came up specifically about One Call. Since then, I have read other threads asking questions about other online dealers. In several of the threads there were posts about One Call. From what I have read, they seem like a reputable company.

Seem reputable... they advertise in various A/V magazines. FWIW

I've bought from One Call. I've even returned items too. No problems.

I bought a Toshiba HDTV from them -- good price, quick delivery. They are the internet extension of a brick & mortar store in Spokane.

I just got a Boston Bravo center speaker from them. It was 1/2 price, cheap shipping, and it took like 3 days to here (Rhode Island). Great transaction.

I bought my receiver and a camcorder from them.

Everything has been great so far, no issues and they actually had knowledge about the products.

I received my Samsung DLP today, one day early, even though they had to ship from Washington, instead of West Virginia. Nothing but good comments for them.

Bought AVR from them, two day delivery from Wash. to NC. Have good tracking system and I even got a follow up call a few days later.
I recommend them and I buy a lot of items online.

They have been around a long time. I bought a 35" tv from them years ago. (at least a few, this was the last cinema series before component video) It was DOA. Toshiba refused to repair or replace it, claiming that it was damaged in transit. One Call paid for the repair ($400) and threw in a 3 year extended warranty for my trouble. I would recommend them.

At least in my experience...I bought a Toshiba plasma tv from them last month. Showed up in perfect condition right on time. I would definitely buy from them again.

I recently purchased a Sony KDF55xs955 from OneCall.com and the experience was very good. I made the purchase late on a Wednesday afternoon and the TV arrived at my home in Corona, CA from Spokane, WA Friday afternoon via FedEx ground. There were no marks on the packaging and the TV arrived in great shape. As others have remarked earlier, a representative from OneCall called me a week and a half later to inquire into my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend OneCall to anyone considering a major purchase such as this one. :overclap:

A friend of mine swears by them instead of at them...buys receivers, speakers and so on for many years...it just goes to show that if you deliver good service your customers get more customers and so on.

I live in Spokane. They're a division of Huppins Audio and Video. They've been around for ions and have a great reputation on and off line. I haven't found their prices that terribly aggressive though.

I bought my speakers through them. They had the lowest prices plus they knock off another 1% for being in the onecall club or something like that. It's a few bucks anyway.

The kicker is that I called them twice and each time the phone was answered on the first ring by (get this) an English speaking human !

That's worth my business alone. ;)

I ordered a Toshiba 62HM94 DLP RPTV from One Call after much research on the Internet and a couple calls to One Call. Wanted to make sure of what happens if there is damamge or a non-working unit.

Ordered late in the day on a Thursday and received the unit via Fedex freight the following Tuesday (from spokane to Phoenix) The unit arrived in perfect condition, the driver was vbery helpful getting the set into the garage where I could unbox it (I'd been told the white glove service offered is over-rated).

One Call even placed a follow-up phone call to me last evening to make sure everything was working :overclap: and to see if there was any need for service.

A great experience; considering the size and expense of the item, it was hard to decide whether to buy online. One Call has a good process; their rep did tell me they ship over 100 big screens a week so they have it down. I will order other items when needed with confidence.

I bought my audio receiver from them several years ago and had a great experience -- I wouldn't hesitate to shop with them again!
